Which World Do You See?
Loyalty and honor are things of the past.
Hurt and destruction take over.
They advance like an army, moving in for the kill.
They grow, swelling like the morning tide.
Devouring everything in their path. Washing all out to sea.
The dark coldness of the world engulfs all that is good and right.
Changing bright daylight into night.
The flicker of hope fades with each passing day.
Evil grows. It takes root in the heart of man, in society.
Children embrace it. Adults encourage it.
All around the world itÂs accepted.
Wrong is right and right is wrong.
Universal truths vanish, they no longer exists.
It is our truth, mine and yours.
Where is Gods truth?
Darkness surrounds, who can see? Destruction is encouraged.
Those who stand for right are mocked, shun, avoided, persecuted,
What is right? Who is right?
It is impossible to tell. This is the world that exists.
But, it is not the world I seek.
Not the world I choose to see.
I glimpse values, morals, and hope.
I see dreams, possibilities and positive change.
I long for and pursue the things of old.
A time when men sought after spiritual truth and it guided them.
They sought the sovereign one. The majestic one.
They looked for and found Yahweh.
Darkness fades. Hope exists. Life begins again.
The sea no longer consumes. A new dawn arises. Man changes.
Isn't amazing how ones perspective dictates how one views the world? At times it can be difficult to be positive when negativity is all around. But remember that God ispositivee in all things. He is positively a provider. He ispositivelyy good. He is positively a healer. He is positively the creator of the world. He is positively an answerer of prayers.
Since God has created us in His image should we not be positive too? I think so!
